Beautifully appointed cruising yacht from the stable of Hallberg-Rassy. These yachts are renowned for the build quality and sailing performance and this yacht is an excellent example of this. In present ownership since 2008 she has seen many improvements including "coppercoat" applied professionally in 2011, new standing rigging, deck recaulk, replacement sail drive seal and a major upgrade of the onboard navigation aids. The yacht sleeps 5 in comfort with a double berth in bow cabin, two berths in saloon and a large pilot berth aft of chart table. Upholstery and carpets in good order. Well maintained inboard Volvo with fully receipted history. Bermudan sloop rig with all lines led aft. Easy reef furling mainsail, roller furling genoa with UV strip and cruising chute with snuffer.
As you would expect from such a quality yacht builder, below decks is beautifully finished with only the best materials used.
The woodwork is superb with a mixture of mahogany solid wood and veneers. The flooring is teak and holly but protected by HR supplied pop in carpets which add luxury whilst deadening any noise. The fabrics are a smart, blue corded velour and are well upholstered.
The main cabin is entered from the cockpit. Excellent headroom with 6' at galley and in the saloon. To port is the L-shaped galley with a gas-fuelled oven with a 2-burner hob. Adjacent is a top-loading refrigerator. Stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water. Battery saving freshwater foot pump. Plentiful storage at the galley with hull-mounted cupboards, drawer and pan storage.
Opposite the galley is the forward-facing chart table. Here you with find the 12/240V switch panel, tank, battery, and bilge monitors/gauges and chart storage. Aft is a large pilot/quarter berth which also doubles as a decent storage place for the saloon bedding when not in use and a comfortable chart table seat.
The saloon has a slightly offset drop leaved table with central bottle storage. The settees/berths port and starboard have hinged backrests which can raise giving more room to the berth and act as handy storage space. Storage here is plentiful with drawers beneath each settee and hull-mounted lockers above.
In the corridor between the saloon and the forward cabin is the large heads. Here you will find a Jabsco marine toilet fitted with a holding tank. Adjacent is a porcelain sink unit with a hot hand cold mixer tap and retractable shower faucet. The shower tray is fitted with an attractive teak grate. Mirror, cupboard storage and towel rail. Opposite the heads is a large wardrobe with rail. Forward cabin with V-berth and storage below and set of drawers centrally. Shelf storage either side of the hull and storage locker on the forward bulkhead. Opening deck hatch for ventilation witj Oceanair blind.
All cabins are fitted with 12V reading and deckhead lighting.
